NORA Saanjh
Pure Silk Handblock Scarf
Saanjh, meaning evening or dusk, captures the warm, quiet beauty of golden hour light.
This elegant silk scarf combines a soft ivory-cream base with an intricate handblock printed pattern in terracotta, warm peach, muted blue, sage green, and delicate golden tones, framed by a finely detailed traditional border.
Crafted from 100% pure silk, Saanjh has a naturally luminous finish and a soft, fluid drape.
The Art of Handblock Printing
Each Saanjh scarf is individually hand printed by skilled Indian artisans using the traditional handblock printing technique. The design is carved into wooden blocks and carefully stamped onto the silk, layer by layer, to create the intricate pattern.
Because every piece is handmade, small variations in colour, placement and print are natural.
A Heritage of Craftsmanship
Saanjh is part of the NORA × Inheritance India collaboration, created to celebrate and help preserve India’s enduring textile traditions.
For over eight decades, the Inheritance India family has worked closely with artisan communities and women from underprivileged backgrounds, supporting traditional skills while creating sustainable livelihoods and opportunities.
The artisans behind this collection originate from Kutch, Gujarat, a region celebrated for its distinctive textile heritage, and are now based in New Delhi.
