The Art of Handblock Printing
Rooted in centuries-old Indian textile traditions, handblock printing is a meticulous handcrafted process. Each design is carved into a wooden block and carefully stamped onto the silk by skilled artisans, building the pattern layer by layer.
The slight variations created through the handmade process are part of the beauty of the craft, giving every piece its own individual character.
The edges are carefully finished and stitched by hand, adding an authentic artisanal touch to the scarf.

Our collaboration with Inheritance India is rooted in a deep commitment to preserving traditional Indian craftsmanship.
For over eight decades, their family has worked closely with artisan communities and women from underprivileged backgrounds, helping preserve traditional skills while creating sustainable livelihoods and opportunities for the communities who carry this heritage forward.
The artisans behind this collection come from Kutch, Gujarat, a region celebrated for its rich textile traditions, and are now based in New Delhi.
